The VIP Experience
We’ve heard you loud and clear. One of the biggest complaints about attending any conference is the almost immediate loss of momentum once you get back to your office and are faced with all the usual challenges.
It’s one thing to have a plan for BIG THINGS when you’re in the midst of your tribe, but when you go back out in the wild with people who don’t share your vision or understand the mission, it can be harder to keep yourself focused.
That’s why we’re offering a 6-month group coaching option for our VIP participants >to help hold yourself accountable and dig deeper into what you need to succeed. You’ll have twice monthly 60-90 minute virtual calls after the event lead by one of our faculty members to give you that extra support that you need.

You’ll also have a better understanding of how to calculate the value of your practice, which can be useful if you’re considering adding a partner or selling your practice.

Mastering Your Money Mindset
Have you ever struggled with thoughts about money, especially when it comes to valuing yourself and your service? In this workshop, you’ll learn some common money mindset issues that plague high-level pediatric CEOs and brainstorm ways to overcome them in your own life. Bonnie Koo, MD will show you how money is a key performance indicator that is directly proportional to your impact and why it’s important for CEOs to measure this on a practice and personal level.

Effective Workflows
We get it. You didn’t get through medical school by sleeping in the back of the class. You work hard and you’re good at a lot of things. But just because you can do something, doesn’t mean you should. Join Suzanne Berman, MD, FAAP and Katrina Skinner, MD, FAAP as they share tried and true methods to help you spend more time in your zone of genius. From the mindset issues that prevent pediatrician CEOs from effectively delegating to easy-to-implement automations, Drs. Berman and Skinner will help you find more time for the things that bring you joy.

What is a custom automation? What's the fine print?
Work with Suzanne Berman, MD to create your ultimate practice automation. From reports to recalls, she can help you streamline and save time on the important work you do in your practice. Work must be intiated by February 1, 2024 to qualify for discount and requires a minimum purchase to qualify for discount.
Custom automations can connect websites, spreadsheets, e-mails, texting, databases, and more. Laborious processes that your staff have to complete weekly/monthly by hand can now be automated so your staff can focus on patient care. Some examples of custom automations include:
- The Immunization Webdriver, which takes a spreadsheet of vaccines administered by a practice and uploads them to a state’s immunization registry. When North Carolina’s immunization registry would not connect with OP, PCC, or Athena practices, over 1 million vaccines were uploaded this way, saving hundreds of hours of staff time.
- Insurance Appeal Generator – create thousands of insurance appeal forms from a spreadsheet
- Follow-up Faxer — take a spreadsheet of 1000 outstanding overdue referrals and generate/send faxes to all those specialists saying “Please send me the notes for patient [name] that you saw to [my pracitce]”
- Medical Home Matcher — get multiple patient rosters from insurance company websites, get a list of your active patients with those insurances, and match them all up – making punch lists for insurance companies to add and remove from your panel.
- OIG Compliance Checker – check each of your employees monthly for OIG exclusions on the OIG website and keep a spreadsheet of results, for compliance
- And much more!
The process of a creating custom automation includes:
- Needs assessment: Meeting with your practice leaders to determine what processes are ripe for automation
- Design: Designing an automation that uses your specified inputs to create amazing outputs
- Development: Coding and user interface
- Testing and training: Showing you how to use your automation, and squashing bugs that arise
Bottom line: if you’re faced with a challenge that seems too daunting to solve, let Dr. Berman come to your rescue. Before you send your team into panicked overdrive, give her a call to find out how she can use her automagical powers to save you time and money.
I'm a practice administrator. Should I attend?
If your relationship with the practice is that you provide true visionary and strategic guidance to your owners, then this event may be for you. However, this event is deliberately designed to not focus on the content that many of the other pediatric practice management events provide.
I'm not a pediatrician. Can I still attend Pediatric CEO Intensive?
If you’re not a clinician at all, we can’t imagine many scenarios where our content would otherwise benefit you – however, we’d love to learn and understand more. Drop us a note, perhaps we’re a great match!
